About the course
The course is educational. It is not legal, financial, investment or tax advice, and it is not an emergency, monitoring or case-management service. No course can guarantee that you will avoid every scam or that lost money can be recovered. If you are in danger, call 911. If you think you've been scammed, contact your bank and the official agencies listed in the course.
Your account
Keep your password private. Your access is for your personal use. You're responsible for activity on your account, so please let us know right away if you think someone else has used it.
Access length
Your purchase includes lifetime access to the online course. You can use it for as long as Senior Safeguard Services offers the course online, with no renewal fees.
Using the course
You may use the lessons, practice activities, worksheets and your action plans for yourself and to help your own family. Please don't copy, sell, share your login, post the course materials publicly, or use them to run your own class or business without our written permission. We may suspend or close an account that is misused in these ways.

Course materials are © Senior Safeguard Services. Scenarios use made-up names, numbers and web addresses. Links to government and company websites are provided for convenience; we are not affiliated with them and are not responsible for their content.
Phone numbers and information
We check the phone numbers and websites in the course and your action plans against official sources, but organizations change them. Before you rely on a number, compare it with the back of your card, your statement or the organization's official website.
No guarantees
The course is provided "as is." To the extent the law allows, we make no promises beyond those written in these terms, including that the course will always be available or error-free.
Limit of liability
To the extent the law allows, Senior Safeguard Services is not responsible for any losses that come from scams, fraud or decisions you make, and our total responsibility for any claim related to the course is limited to the amount you paid for it. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have that cannot be limited by law.
Disputes
If you have a problem, please contact us first so we can try to fix it. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any dispute that can't be resolved informally will be handled in the courts of San Diego County, California, or in small claims court where it qualifies.
Other terms
If any part of these terms can't be enforced, the rest still applies. These terms, the Privacy Policy and the Refund Policy are the full agreement between you and us about the course.
